Hi, I start my full non medical prescribing course in September.
I have looked around the internet and found sites where for a smallish fee you can buy a nice new hard backed BNF and access exam questions etc.
Has anyone tried these ?, I thought I might join up as any help and practice has to be a good thing.

I was tempted, but put off by the price. I got given a current paperback BNF adult and child when I started my course , and I think the exam qs vary considerably from uni to uni...Better to try and lay your hands on some old papers of the Uni you are doing your course at.

Don't purchase a BNF yourself, your Trust / LHB should supply you with the latest BNF edition when you start the course. Speak to your medicines management department to request a copy (preferably in September when the new edition comes out).

hey debzz
i have just passed nmp the university had a great website with lots of old exam papers and alot of useful tests etc ,we did alot of pre exam practice it is in their interest to get u through this so a good uni will give this help.I agree with others though u shouldnt need to buy a BNF and u can acess online very useful.I would also recommend gettin athens login as can access alot of sites with it sometimes limited access but helped me alotl
